Holly specializes in orthopedics and spine care, including neuromusculoskeletal injuries and conditions, post surgical rehabilitation, sports injury, and jaw joint dysfunction. She excels in overall case management.
As a certified manual therapist, she is skilled providing hands on musculoskeletal techniques for joints, muscles and connective tissue. Treatments are complimented by appropriate corrective exercises. She focuses on providing personalized and holistic treatment plans influenced by evidence based research, > 29 years of physical therapy experience and extensive continuing education. Holly helps patients recover beyond pain relief and help them live, work, and play with greater confidence and ease. She values active listening to fully understand a patient’s needs and expectations. Above all, Holly treats within her expertise area and will refer out to other medical professionals when indicated.
Holly Holmes is from Frederick, Maryland and moved to Colorado in 1988. She has a diverse competitive sports background in modern pentathlon (run, ride, swim, shoot, fence), soccer, skiing, equestrian riding, rock climbing, and road/mountain biking. Numerous personal injuries and subsequent recoveries inspired her to enter a Physical Therapy career path. Holly enjoys golfing, fishing, cycling, skiing, and spending quality time with family and horses.
She lives and works in Golden and Carbondale, CO.
From Corporate to Concierge
With growing challenges in the US to receive quality healthcare, Holly recognizes the real need to give patients a choice of superior care from experienced physical therapists. A shift to the concierge treatment model makes sense after 28 years working as both clinic director and staff therapist for Select Physical Therapy, Physiotherapy Associates at Panorama Orthopedics and Spine, and Concentra Managed Care. Like minded physical therapists have the opportunity to work with peers and join this effort to provide more personalized and flexible care.
